1-2-3: Hiring and making the shift from engineer to entrepreneur

Meeting my co-founders for the first time, in person, after 6 months remote.

For the past two weeks I am been off of the radar. Working with my team in person for the first time in the 6 months we have been working together. Our organization had reached a point where we are seeing sales and the potential for growth. So what better time to get everyone together to discuss the business and really share some personal time. It was an incredible experience when you meet someone in person you learn who they really are and get to feel how they work, speak, and carry themselves. Can't wait to do it again.

We have had 4 sales in less than 12 hours at a $37 price point. This gets people into the app and addicted. I am confident we have found product market fit with this version of the app. But does it scale to cold traffic?

I am afraid to show our application to real entrepreneurs because we lack the USP that will be unreproducible by our competition. What we have now is "too simple". There is no mote. The way we'll get there is with our unique AI engine focusing on our data acquisition strategy, model development process, evals, and deployment.

Launched our new 3 day challenge. The kicker? Get access to our paid training and get a 14 day free trial for free.

Evaluation hiring has begun for engineering. We have an "intern" testing and debugging our app in production prior to our challenge. Let's see how he does. Calls are scheduled with executive assistants as well.

There seems to be an unbalanced power. Our CEO has experience in all parts of business and management except engineering and marketing. Two very small pieces of the overall org. Do we allocate more equity for him or do the marketing and engineering founders step out of their genius zones to help?
